This is the most beautiful animation I’ve seen in a while.  Every scene by Yannick Puig matches ever sound by Kwoon.

I’ve listened to plenty of songs in the past twenty four hours while decorating the house with my dear O-aides.  This has got to be one of my favorites.  The refrain is just the best.

Chris Appelhans, Breathe In

Once upon a time, I watched a film called Family Business.  A cinematic gem and a visual masterpiece, this absurdist musical was muchly the work of a kid named Mike Swanberg, whom I’ve never met and whose name I usually don’t recall (both in conversation and in my mind, I call him by his character’s name: Father).

Anyway, The New Suffer Jets is Father’s band.  While listening to them on their myspace, I entirely forgot that I was listening to them on their myspace.

Yes.  They’re that good.
