I kind of want Yoskay Yamamoto’s art to be tattooed on my body.

Hey Jude by Andrew Hem. I was too charmed not to post it.

Houses suspended or sinking, boats afloat, clouds and the occasional tree are the motifs for Erik Otto. I’ve posted a painting because I think his installations don’t have quite the same effect as after you see his two-d work.

My drawing professor suggested I take a look at Inka Essenhigh. Her work blows my mind.
Kent Williams’ bizarrely charged portraits and figure drawings.
I took part in a show with the Toaster crew - http://toasterstoasters.blogspot.com/
It is a painting loosely based on the famous ‘man on a horse’ a statue in the centre of Wolverhampton. You can find this, and many other fascinating titbits about Wolverhampton town centre here……

“The inherited story has always been that the sculptor committed suicide after the unveiling, when it was pointed out to him that a horse, supposedly, cannot adopt that stance without falling over. The story is recounted by Phil Drabble in his passionate book on Staffordshire:”
lovely stuff…..
I’ve been love-tagging almost all my posts lately, if not literally then definitely mentally in an effort to look at least a little selective.
But Brendan Monroe has been unquestionably love-tagged. (And by Evah Fan, too, but in a different way.)
